The Miracles Message

Today was an okay day. It started off well. Church was fun too. The message was about miracles. Here are the notes:

Definition of a miracle:
A supernatural event or happeneing regarded as an act of God.

The landmarks of miracle teritory:
1. The landmark of neediness.-vs. 8
a. Every miracle began with a problem.
b.The problem must be bigger than you.

2. The landmark of humility.-vs. 9-11
Humility- a freedom form arrogance, a realization that everything we have comes from God.

3. The landmark of participation. -vs. 12 and 13
The differnence between magic and miracles is participation.

4. The landmark of obedience.
Oswald Chambers: "Never try to explain God until you have obeyed him, the only bit of God we understand is the bit that we have obeyed."

5. The landmark of faith.-vs. 15,16a

hat was the message notes and I thought the message was really cool. Now that I look back there are a couple of miracles have happened in my life. That's really cool. Thanks Pastor Rick!! lol. My Pastor is so cool. He said that miracles can only happen on miracle territory. For example Jesus' first miracle was truning water into wine. Mary told evertone to do as he said. Jesus told them to go get pails of water for a wedding I think (correct me if I'm wrong) and they did. If they hadn't gotten the water, Jesus wouldn't have done the miracle. See? lol

I have to go and get Summer's and mine website working again.
