Nothing Gold Can Stay

This is one of my favorite poems

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower.
But only so an hour,
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost

I don't know why I have this attachment to this poem. I think it's because of the Outsiders. I'm not really sure.

I added Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to my favorite authors list after reading Le Petit Prince. I wept after that book. It's so much more beautiful in French. No matter what the language it will always make me cry.

I have just now realized the importance of words and language. The power they have is incredible. They can make you weep, shout for joy, scream, or frustrated. They can break a heart or mend one.

Sorry, I'm having one of those moments. Sometimes I think to much. My mind goes on a rampage and I never know where it will end up.

I was diary reading today and I added some diaries to my comments list. They aren't Christian diaries.

I'm going to go now. Farewell....
